VoiceGate TARGETS
LOW-END VOICE MAIL MARKET
VoiceGate Corporation, a leading supplier of
PC-based voice mail, audiotex and custom-designed
voice response systems has announced the addition
of a "LITE Series"
version to its acclaimed VIP4000
voice mail product .
VIP4000 voice mail
products offer digital integration with most modern
business phone systems and are sold and supported globally
by an authorized network of independent dealers and
distributors.
Available in a 2-port/ 30 mail box and 4-port/ 60 mail
box configurations, the new "LITE
Series" version is expandable up to 24
ports and 1000 mail boxes and provides direct digital
integration with Meridian
Norstar - one of the world's most popular and
widely used small business phone systems.
Announcing the new product, Paul Perryman, VoiceGate's
Vice-President of Business Development confirmed that
the company had set its sights squarely on a bigger
slice of the potentially lucrative "small office"
sector of the voice mail market up till now dominated
by Nortel's low cost proprietary "Flashtalk"
offering. Noting that VoiceGate was among the first
to develop and market a truly "seamless" (no
ATA or VMI) digital integration for the Norstar key
system, Perryman points out that the new product comes
with a proven track record.
"Breaking the Flashtalk price barrier without
sacrificing VIP4000
quality and performance is a significant achievement
in our product development program," says Perryman,
"VoiceGate dealers are now positioned to access
an important new sector of their small business market
place with a proven system offering superior performance,
abundant features and virtually limitless expandability."
Distribution of the LITE Series
will take place alongside the company's standard VIP4000
products. Shipments will commence in February 1997.
